Cleaning instructions for the Philips Respironics ComfortGel Blue CPAP nasal mask
Hand wash the mask before first and regular use. Hand wash the headgear once a week or as needed. The headgear does not need to be removed to wash the mask regularly.
Hand wash the mask and headgear using soft liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Do not use chlorine, alcohol, bleach, or alcohol-based cleaning solutions, or cleaning solutions that contain conditioners or moisturizers.
Danger:
Deviations from these guidelines may affect product performance. Clean well with water and let air dry away from strong sunshine. Before using the mask, make sure it is completely dry.
Dry the hat on a flat surface or on a line. Do not use the dryer to dry the headgear.
It is recommended to inspect the mask for injuries or wear (tears, folds, tears, etc.). Discard and replace all components if necessary.

Reduce leaks or pressure points on the bridge of the nose or above the lip by changing the StabilitySelector on the forehead support arm. Follow these instructions to cover any leaks.
Gently squeeze the arms of the StabilitySelector and move them to a lower position so they can exit over the bridge of the nose or through the eyes.
Squeeze the arms of the StabilitySelector and move them to a higher location to create leaks around or under the mouth. Reinsert the mask by carefully removing it from your face and securing it back in place.
Overtightening the headgear is the most common mistake. The headgear should be loose and easy to wear. Loosen the headgear straps if the skin bulges. Loosen the head straps if you see red lines or the mask leaves marks on the skin.
