Opti-Start
This feature allows your device to use your most recent sleep performance as input for your next Auto-Bipap therapy session. The goal is to start your therapy closer to your set pressure. This optional feature can be enabled or disabled in the device's settings.

Bi-Flex, C-Flex and C-Flex+ Technology
Bi-Flex pressure relief technology provides pressure relief during inhalation and exhalation to make BiPAP therapy more similar to natural breathing.
By tracking every breath, Bi-Flex pressure relief technology provides pressure relief at three critical points in the breathing cycle and the transition from exhalation to inhalation. C-Flex: C-Flex pressure relief technology makes sleep therapy more comfortable by reducing pressure at the start of exhalation and returning to therapeutic pressure just before inhalation.
The degree of pressure relief varies depending on the user's expiratory flow and which of the three C-Flex settings has been selected. Bi-Flex is activated when the device is set to Bi-PAP Auto and C-Flex is activated in CPAP mode.

Advanced event detection
Built-in device intelligence to help you make the most informed decisions possible.
The new DreamStation Auto BiPAP sleep system takes into account advanced sleep assessment parameters such as AHI, large leak, flow restriction and RERAs to help you determine the appropriate clinical management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). But the real advancement is the ability to point out when the user is experiencing symptoms beyond classic OSA. With intelligent technology that can detect clear airway apneas and periodic breathing, the system immediately indicates the potential need for specialized therapy. With the new system, all events can now be reviewed by looking at the detailed user flow waveform data captured by the device.

Resistance control
The control achieves complete system comfort by ensuring that the device and mask work together optimally. Through simple adjustments, the technology instructs the device to compensate for variable resistance characteristics related to different masks. The result is synchronized pressure delivery and the peace of mind that users can enjoy all the benefits of our Flex comfort technologies, no matter which Philips Respironics mask is used.

Widescreen LCD Display
The larger LCD screen ensures users can see the interface even in the dark, with a larger rotary knob for easy navigation, with a sensor built into the top of the machine to control ambient light in the bedroom recognize. It dims the screen in a dark environment and brightens it when you are in an area with ample ambient light.
