The Fisher And Paykel Simplus Full Face Mask's soft headgear and advanced seal provide an easy fit with excellent performance. Fall asleep faster tonight! Advantages of the F&P CPAP mask.

The Fisher And Paykel Simplus consists of three key components, the RollFit™ Seal, the ErgoForm™ Headgear and the Easy Frame, all designed to work together. Combined, these components provide the comfort, seal and ease of use that Fisher & Paykel Healthcare masks are known for.

The Simplus Full Face Mask is a silicone mask designed for comfort and ease of use. It sits a little lower on the nose and thus prevents contact from the annoying bridge area. It is easy to disassemble and clean, and the ball joint elbow design provides greater freedom of movement. The narrow forehead rest opens up your field of vision and uses the soft fabric of the headgear as cushioning instead of plastic or silicone. A great option for anyone looking for a premium CPAP mask.

Full face mask overview

The Fisher And Paykel Simplus Full Face Mask is a new addition to their Full Face Mask range and is based on the simple but effective features of the Eson 2 Nasal Pillow Mask .

Three key components

Here too, the aim is to offer comfort combined with easy handling, as is typical for the Fisher & Paykel mask series.

As seen on their newest nasal pillow mask, the Eson 2, the Simplus features a RollFit seal that rolls back and forth on the bridge of the nose, allowing it to automatically adjust to your movements. The seal is improved by the integrated stability plates and pressure on the bridge of the nose is reduced by the RollFit design, contributing to improved comfort.

You'll notice that the design of the Simplus is similar to the ResMed AirFit F20 mask and actually has many of the same features. The Simplus also sits a little further down the nose and relieves pressure on the often annoying bridge of the nose, which often becomes sore. The main difference, however, is that the Simplus has forehead support, making it more stable and less prone to shifting.

The ErgoFit headgear is ergonomically designed to be positioned higher on the back of the head, allowing maximum head movement without the mask slipping. The headgear is also equipped with easy-clip hooks and Velcro fasteners for easy installation and quick removal, with a crown strap at the top of the head increasing the stability of the Simplus. Stretch and non-stretch panels also allow for stretch when needed and maintain their shape for optimal performance.

The design of the Fisher and Paykel Simplus Mask and CPAP Full Face Mask with Headgear minimizes weight and complexity for full face mask users. This full face mask delivers airflow to both the nose and mouth for those whose mouths remain open while sleeping.

For customers who are unsure of what size pillow is needed, the Simplus Full Face Mask – Fit Pack is also available. The Fit Pack includes pillows of all sizes, making it easier to get the best pillow size without having to measure.

  • Simple cushion with RollFit seal
  • Minimalist design - 3 main parts

Forehead support without visual impairment

The Simplus's narrow forehead rest allows for a clear line of sight, so you can relax and watch TV or read a book in bed if you wish, which is not always possible with full face masks. The forehead rest also doesn't put silicone or plastic in contact with your skin; Instead, the soft material of the headbands provides cushioning and significantly reduces the risk of irritation or discomfort.

The popular ball joint elbow is also present on the Simplus, allowing freedom of movement and reducing hose drag. The Easy Clip Attachment for the cushion makes reassembling the mask after cleaning quick and easy.

The Simplus is designed to simplify your CPAP treatment without compromising comfort, a welcome addition to the popular Fisher & Paykel range.

The Simplus full face mask consists of 3 main parts:

Frame, headgear and cushions. With minimal components, you get a mask that is easy to adjust during use or maintain when not. Simplicity is at the heart of the Simplus and the lightweight design improves sleeping comfort.

Forehead stability bar

Instead of a bulky forehead piece found on other masks, the Simplus Full Face Mask uses a narrow forehead stabilizing bar that serves as an anchor for the cushion seal.

The stability bar helps the pillow maintain an adequate seal by allowing it to move sufficiently to adapt to changing positions throughout the night.

However, it provides sufficient support to prevent cushion movement that would result in complete seal rupture.

Lightweight frame with Easy Clip

The frame of the Simplus mask is particularly simple, but remains effective. The “Easy Clip,” a single clip to lock the cushion, makes it a breeze to separate the mask for cleaning.

The ball and joint arch can be moved freely to accommodate active sleepers. Any Simplus cushion can be used with the Simplus frame.

Breathable ErgoForm headgear

The headgear for the Fisher And Paykel Simplus full face mask is comfortable and allows for movement. The breathable headgear can be adjusted using the Velcro fasteners and easily removed using the headgear clips.

To promote stability when adapting to change, parts of the headgear are stretched while some remain in place.

The Simplus headgear is available in two sizes: Small and Medium/Large. A small Simplus comes with a small headgear. A medium or large Simplus mask comes with medium/large headgear.

To provide a wide range of adjustment, the headgear can be changed at 5 points: both headgear clips, both sides of the forehead rest and the top buckle.

Simple cushion with RollFit seal

As the name suggests, the RollFit gasket rolls on the nose, allowing the cushion to shift but still remain tight.

This feature results in less strain on the bridge of the nose. A one-click design makes it easy to remove and place the cushion on the Simplus Mask.

There are three pillow sizes available:

Small, medium and large. If a different size is needed and a new mask does not need to be ordered, a replacement cushion in the new size can be ordered and placed on the existing frame.

Simplus full face mask compared to

ComfortGel Blue CPAP Full Face Mask
Although the ComfortGel Blue Full Face Mask has been around for a while, it is still a close competitor to Simplus. The ComfortGel Blue full face mask features a gel cushion that may be more comfortable for some users. It also has something called SST (Sure Seal Technology), which is supposed to help the mask conform better to your face. Similar to the simplus, the Comfortgel also has a forehead support, but is less TV-friendly (less clear line of sight).

AirFit F20 CPAP mask
The AirFit has similar features to the Simplus. However, it has its own fancy word for its pillow technology (InfinitySeal Pillow) and also features magnetic clips (which aren't necessarily easier to use than Simplus's clips). A number of people reported that the AirFit had fewer air leaks and better visibility, but the Simplus has a more flexible elbow that can rotate with more freedom. However, the AirFit is significantly more expensive, so if price is an important factor, you should consider the Simplus over the AirFit.

AirTouch F20 CPAP Mask
Although it's a very similar product to the AirFit, the AirTouch F20 its memory foam pillow - which has received pretty good reviews online overall. As mentioned earlier, one of the disadvantages of Simplus is that it has relatively high air leakage rates. So, although it depends on the user's sleeping/breathing pattern and face shape, you should consider AirTouch if you have had annoying air leakage issues in the past or you want to be sure that air leakage is minimized. However, it is significantly more expensive than the Simplus.
