With just four parts, the Resmed Quattro Air's minimalist design is easy to use and clean. It consists of the mask frame, headgear, pillow and snap elbow. The lower headgear straps attach quickly and easily to the hooks on the lower part of the mask frame.

Frame & forehead support

The lightweight, open frame supports the pillow and limits contact and pressure on the face. The silicone flex wing forehead rest can be automatically positioned without the use of forehead pads. Only the headgear touches the forehead for a comfortable feeling. The frame of the Resmed Quattro Air is sized to match the size of the pillow.

Flexwing forehead support & open frame

One of the Quattro Air's subtlest innovations is the soft silicone Flex-Wing forehead support that automatically flexes into position without requiring forehead pads, excessive pressure or too-tight headgear. The Flex Wing feels light on the face while providing just the right amount of stability for a reliable seal. The slim, open Quattro Airframe is light and flexible; Minimizing facial contact while supporting the Spring Air cushion on the face.

Spring air cushion design

Resmed Quattro Air 's Spring Air cushion is an improved seal that is lightweight and flexible. The double-walled design reduces pressure and supports sealing with a higher level of comfort on the bridge of the nose. As the therapy air flows into the mask, it inflates the cushion to create a seal between the cushion and the face. This is a full face mask that covers both the nose and mouth, making it suitable for those whose mouth opens while sleeping or who use high therapeutic pressure. The cushion can be replaced to extend the life of the mask.

Improved spring air cushion

Quattro Air's improved Spring Air cushion has a slightly textured surface that feels more natural against the skin and improves the overall seal. The double-walled design gently inflates with therapeutic air during use to create a soft, conformable air cushion between the mask and the face. Updated contours on the bridge of the nose reduce pressure and improve comfort and fit.

The Resmed Quattro Air cushion seals the mouth and nose, making it suitable for patients who breathe through the mouth and nose, as well as those with nasal congestion or occasional mouth leaks. Also ideal for higher therapy pressures

A TRUE LIGHTWEIGHT

The Quattro Air offers the proven performance and reliability of the Mirage Quattro in a lighter, more comfortable mask that is easier to set up and use. At just 3.3 ounces, Quattro Air is 45% lighter than the popular Mirage Quattro. The reduced weight eliminates pressure on the face and pulling on the headgear, making Resmed Quattro Air feel lighter and less prone to leaks.

 Design of the Softedge headgear

Specifically for the Resmed Quattro Air, the SoftEdge headgear has a unique texture and feel to aid fit and comfort. It is designed to be worn loosely so that the mask cushion distributes pressure evenly. The headgear is easy to put on and take off and connect to the mask by slipping the headgear over the hook on the side of the frame. You don't have to reattach the headgear every time. Once the headgear is in place, simply slide it into position for use.

The Quattro Air comes with the Standard headgear, which is light gray and light blue. The headgear is available in size Small and can be purchased separately.

Quick release elbow and circle vent design

Ease of cleaning and assembly is key to the Quattro Air. The fully rotating elbow is made from one piece and features quick-release fasteners for cleaning. It easily snaps up and down the mask frame. The circular vent is designed to gently direct air away from the user and bed partners.
