Adjusting the Resmed AirFit N10 CPAP nasal mask with headgear

• Align the bottom of the pillow opening with the bottom of your nose with the gray side of the headgear facing outward and the lower headgear straps unfastened.
• Cover your nose with the mask.
  Pull the hat over your head. Checking the headgear: When putting on the headgear, make sure the label is facing outwards.
• Pull the bottom straps up to your earlobes. Attach the magnetic clip to the outside of the frame.
• Release the fastening tabs on the lower and upper headband. Adjust the straps evenly until the mask fits snugly against your nose. Reinstall the mounting tabs.
• Connect your CPAP machine's tubing to the free end of the mask's short tubing assembly. Make sure your device is blowing air when turned on.
• Adjust the pillow and headgear so that the mask does not wrinkle or twist and fits snugly on your nose. If you feel air escaping from the sides of the pillow or into your eyes, readjust the head straps for a secure seal.

Listen: The top straps are the most important modifications for comfort and tightness.

• Make sure they are not too stiff.
• The bottom straps are used to hold the position of the pillow.
• In order for the mask to fit easily, they do not need to be tightened very much.
