ResMed's universal CPAP mask headgear is designed for use with the Mirage nasal mask series and the Resmed Mirage Activa LT. The strap connects to the mask frame via Velcro fasteners, with 2 straps positioned over the ears and 2 straps positioned under the ears. The headband clips are not included but can be added separately. Below are the Mirage family masks that this headgear is compatible with.

Resmed Mirage Activa LT Cell Technology, This design allows for movement during sleep, resulting in fewer mask leaks for restless sleepers.

The bubble-like membrane surrounding the double-walled pillow expands and contracts to different pressures, allowing for different sleeping positions throughout the night. The new ActiveCell membrane is less cumbersome than the original, but prevents CPAP users from over-tightening the mask's headgear to create a secure seal. A loose-fitting mask reduces pressure points and prevents red spots.

MicroFit Dial. The MicroFit Dial allows CPAP users to find the right adjustment using 24 small incremental adjustments. The double-walled cushion and forehead move together when the dial is rotated. This design is intended to solve difficult problems with "first-time" fittings and also eliminates the need to overtighten the headgear.

Double-walled cushions. ResMed has manufactured the double-walled pillows in four sizes: Small, Medium, Large and Large Wide. This pillow is designed to fit a wide variety of faces.

Improved diffusion ventilation. The Resmed Mirage Activa LT is also equipped with a new diffusion opening that distributes air more gently and quietly than before. The exhalation openings are designed in a circle so that the audible noise of exhaled air is significantly reduced and the air flow is directed away from the bed partner.

Headgear Quick Clips. The headgear comes with quick clips that allow the mask to be removed quickly and conveniently without the need for readjustment.

A 360° rotating elbow is available on the frame for freedom of movement, which increases the flexibility of the CPAP tube. Mirage Activa LT is a completely quiet CPAP mask that is 49% quieter than the original Activa CPAP mask thanks to the innovative diffuser openings . It is equipped with additional quick release clips.

Mirage Activa LT has the same mask frame as the Mirage SoftGel. The ActiveCell pillow can be exchanged for the DoubleGel pillow from SoftGel.
