Overview DreamStation 15mm Heated Tube
The Heated Hose for DreamStation CPAP Machines is the compatible heated hose for the DreamStation Heated Humidifier from Philips Respironics.
When connected to the humidifier, the heated hose can be set to one of five heat settings or turned off if necessary.
Compatible machines
This heated tube is designed for use with the DreamStation Heated Humidifier, which is the integrated humidifier for the following machines:
- DreamStation CPAP Computer
- DreamStation Pro CPAP Computer
- DreamStation Auto CPAP Machine
- DreamStation BiPAP Pro machine
- DreamStation BiPAP Auto Machine
System One 60 Series machines
The DreamStation 15mm Heated Tube only works with these devices. It is not compatible with other devices, including other Philips Respironics devices.
When the hose is connected to the DreamStation humidifier, it can heat up to keep the humidified air moist as it flows through the hose.
The heated tube can be connected directly to the machine when the humidifier is not in use. However, it doesn't heat.
Heat settings put you in control of your comfort
The DreamStation Heated Tube offers five heat settings, or the heater can be turned off completely if necessary, ensuring you always maintain your air pressure at the temperature and humidity level most suitable for you.
In addition, the hose can be connected directly to the device when the humidifier is not in use.
However, it does not heat up and you are exposed to dry mouth and nose, which can sometimes be caused by CPAP therapy.
